At NOLA Contemporary Ballet, we believe that diversity and cultural inclusion is ingrained in the very DNA of Louisiana. As a melting pot, a gumbo of African, Native American, and European cultures, Louisiana’s history and culture represents the varied stories, faces and spaces that celebrate the diverse groups of people that makeup Louisiana. It is our ongoing endeavor to include, represent and serve diverse and underserved populations through our personnel and programming. As an organization, we will always encourage, support and celebrate diverse voices in the arts.

The first and only contemporary ballet company dedicated to performing works that tell the stories of the rich and diverse history of Louisiana, the company boasts a diverse repertoire, with a movement aesthetic that fuses classical ballet, modern dance and ethno-cultural dance forms.
